What you will do

As part of the Technology Architecture discipline, you will work closely with business architects, data architects and business analysts in delivering a comprehensive set of enterprise architecture services. You will operate as a senior-level practitioner working with project, product, and other change teams to make current architectures visible and understandable, define future architectures that will realise business outcomes, and create architecture artifacts that are clear, concise, and enable better decision making. You will build and maintain positive relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and demonstrating enterprise-level thought leadership. You will collaborate with the team to create and maintain a consistent model of the enterprise architecture and promote its use, support our architecture governance activities, and coach and mentor other architects to grow their skills and capabilities.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate IT architect who can work collaboratively across various disciplines, business units, and architecture domains to support project and product change initiatives. You will be comfortable working with partial or assumed information, high levels of change and often fluid requirements.

The kinds of skills and experience we are looking for include:

Passionate about driving innovation, providing thought leadership, hunger for learning and critical thinking skills to find the best solutions for our organisation.

Extensive experience in technology architecture at both enterprise and solution level with knowledge of application and infrastructure domains.

Strong understanding of business architecture and data architecture.

Experience of technology strategy definition.

Strong team leadership, management, and development skills. Able to mentor and coach less experienced team members.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation with the ability to communicate very technical issues plainly to a non-technical audience.

An ability to adapt to new situations, with the skills to influence and communicate from the technical specialist to the senior executive.

Able to take responsibility in challenging situations, lead workshops, and drive decision making to allow projects and other change initiatives to proceed appropriately.

Experience of working as part of an architecture team to develop and improve the architectural framework, practice, and governance process.

In-depth knowledge of common architectural styles and patterns.

Broad knowledge across all technical and non-technical aspects of technology architecture and design, including maintaining an awareness of wider industry trends.

Able to empathise, build trust, empower others in the team, and contribute to building an environment of psychological safety where everyone can be themselves and maximise their potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to really make an impact. We embrace change and drive innovation forward to meet the changing needs of our customers across the globe. You will explore further, be bold and stay focused on the impact we can have on society and individuals.
