Embedded Software Test Engineer - Outside IR35 - ContractI am working with an exciting company who create coding kits and software for all ages, all over the world and have sold over one million products worldwide, in 150 countries.They are currently looking to hire a Embedded Software Test Engineer to join the team. This role will take responsibility, with the Manual QA team, for taking the product from design idea to finished and completely checked.Extensive experience with writing test scripts in C/ C++, plus Javascript or PythonExperienced in setting up and using automated testing tools and frameworks to test hardware and software (command-line based and GUI applications)Experienced in testing IoT and/or embedded systems, including the design and use of test rigs (with support from hardware engineers)Knowledge of different test methodsDeliver detailed test plans, strategies, checklists and resultsThe project will be an initial 6 months with a strong chance of extension.
