Collaborate, organise, maintain and oversee key elements of my client's infrastructure to ensure stable operation and growth. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting and optimising key functional areas (Server Infrastructure, Storage, Network Infrastructure, Data Communications, Backup Strategies, Disaster Recovery and Telecom systems).Maintain my client's network infrastructure and mixed server estate - roughly 100 Windows Server VMs + 20 Linux Server VMs. Working as part of the Infrastructure, Networking and Security team, focusing on core aspects of both internal and client IT systems. Supporting the first and second line teams as required

Role & Responsibilities Responsible for The Farm's network & firewall infrastructureResponsible for The Farm's mixed server estate - roughly 100 Windows Server VMs + 20 Linux Server VMsParticipate in IT strategic planning activities that reflect the vision of the CompanyResearch and recommend solutions that circumvent potential technical issuesProvide high levels of customer service, 3rd line support experience would be an advantageCollaborate with the IT Support team and other internal departments to carry out infrastructure improvements & changes and to troubleshoot any issuesArchitect, execute, test and deliver innovative solutions, keeping up with our evolving industry and ensuring we're ahead of the curveContribute to deployment of systems and network integration as requiredContinuously improve and optimise aspects of the IT infrastructure and security operations including development or related IT security policies and other relevant processes and standards Cover for absent staff in the team within the remit of the job accountabilities.Undertake ad hoc projects and administrative tasks that are relevant to the operation of the departmentAttend relevant training identified to ensure duties are performed efficientlyOccasional out of hours maintenance

Skills & QualificationsStrong working knowledge of networking disciplines including IP routing, VPNs and VLANsStrong working knowledge of Virtualization, VMware/Nutanix (circa 15 hosts), oVirt/KVM (circa 5 hosts)Strong experience of Linux to support a growing open source environment including homegrown video streaming based on LAMP, Tomcat and NimbleExtensive experience in IT infrastructure and security protocolsExposure to managing equipment in Data CentersKey infrastructure services including AD, DNS, DHCPConfiguration management through SALT or similarGood working knowledge of AWS and Azure including AAD, another area of growth in our businessConfident in managing multiple projects at any one timeBenefits Offering up to £55,000 + Season ticket loan (from day 1) + Life Assurance at 4x annual salary + Company pension - Employee contributes 5% and company contributes 3% + Cyclescheme - up to £2,000 on bike and/or equipment Career progression Opportunity to work for one of the world's leading providers of post-production services based in London, Bristol & Manchester
