About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist who will be instrumental in delivering our data strategy here at ITV, playing your part in a cross-functional team and working on domain-specific data products in collaboration with business stakeholders, Data Strategists, and Data Engineers.
You'll work to translate business problems into smart capabilities and machine learning solutions, the latter of which you'll research, design, train and deploy in the domain such as personalisation, NLP, image recognition and more. Our digital acceleration is going to see huge change to our outputs in 2022 with the launch of ITVX, and you'll need to be ready to scale just as quickly.

Our data team play a crucial role in helping us get the most out of the data that we acquire. Whether that's upskilling and training our people or increasing our revenue through experimentation and personalisation, there's no limit to what we're able to achieve with their help.
The Innovation strand is one of four key groups within our Data & Analytics roles. It's made up of Data Scientists, Operational Researchers and Behavioural Scientists; a mix of number crunchers and behavioural experts who are able to combine their knowledge and understanding to positively impact the business.
As the digital landscape continues to evolve at a breakneck pace, we're looking for people who are ready to innovate and understand the important role that science can play in a creative business.
We're looking for someone who can write production-grade Python code, has the ability to research machine learning techniques and develop prototypes, and is passionate about learning new skills and staying up-to-date with ML algorithms.
