Location: Hybrid NYCSalary: Up to $75K Base ***Sponsorship / C2C not available at this time*** SummaryThe Analyst's role is to aid in the planning, design, development, and launching of efficient information and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize their benefit of IT systems investments. The Analyst will provide guidance and training to users in the organization.Duties, Responsibilities, AccountabilitiesAssist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applicationsCreate current flow diagrams based on business processesDocument business requirements discussed with end usersWrite technical specifications for development teamTest and validate development based on written test case scenariosCreate user friendly documentation/manualsTrain key users on modified or new business processesField incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a courteous manner; first level of user supportMeet with decision makers, systems owners and end users to resolve business systems issuesReview and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systemsCoordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systemQualificationsCollege diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration and three to five years related work experienceSkills at designing process flows and diagramsWorking technical knowledge of Microsoft VisioBasic ERP understanding - knowledge of Navision is a plusBasic Retail Point-of-Sale understandingBasic understanding of finance and manufacturing terminology with demonstrated understanding of business process flowsHave exceptional problem solving skills and ability to work with diverse groupsExcellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectivesGood project management skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent listening and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageHighly self-motivated and directed, takes initiativeKeen attention to detailProven analytical and creative problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentDependable, takes responsibility for own actionsFollows instructions and responds to management directionPlease email [email protected] for immediate consideration!
