Assistant Buyer (4 day week)

£20,000 - £25,000 + Opportunity for progression + Training + 4 day week + Pension

The business itself specialise in providing bespoke solutions to suit their clients electrical power system needs. They have over 30 years' global experience in their sector and offer services from Scotland all the way to the Australasian and Eastern markets. They are looking for a long lasting employee who is looking to grow with the company. The company have also introduced a 4 day working week which means that every weekend will be a long weekend in this role!

In the role, you will work under the lead buyer to process stock orders, run reports and liaise with other stores daily to assist with ordering stock. You will also be expected to communicate with suppliers, place orders amongst other general ad-hoc duties.

In this role you will:Process stock orders, run reports and maintain stock accuracy.Liaise with stores and clients dailyUpdate stock records on stock ERP system (Sage)Attend meetings to update all relevant departments on lead timesAny additional ad-hoc duties such as filing, scanning and archiving
