Fantastic new opportunity in Bristol for a Bluetooth Software Manager to join a growing team. I am seeking a talented Software leader with a strong technical background and excellent leadership ability to build, grow and maintain the agile cross-functional teams based in Bristol. The Software Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the teams and the team members and will have the following skill set:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar.Deep understanding and hands on experience of Agile methodsExperience in booting up agile teams.Strong team management skills.Excellent firmware development skills.Bluetooth protocol knowledge or other wireless communication protocols such as Zigbee, WiFi, etcThe Software Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Mentor, motivate and support the team members Build team spirit, competence, and communication In collaboration with Engineering Manager, ensure the teams are sufficiently staffed to meet the requirements for future products and deliverables.Recruitment in coordination with Engineering ManagerLeadership responsibility for the team members.Great opportunity here for a proven Manager or for an established Software Lead to step up into a management position with a leading company.
