Functional Safety Expert - IP

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Functional Safety Expert, Engineers or Architects to join a brand new business unit for our client developing battery management systems for the automotive industry. You will play an integral part in the next stage of their product development working between their customers to ensure a full understanding of their needs and working with the design teams to propose any solutions needed.

As the Functional Safety Professional, you will work with the electronic design teams to create the safety architecture and implement safety mechanisms across the product, mainly for their IP's. This Functional Safety role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to become an integral part of the business as their company grows. 

This Functional Safety Expert position can be based out of France, Ireland, Germany or the Netherlands. 

Skills Required

• Must have experience with Functional Safety for either electronics or semiconductors
• Experience with ISO 26262 and developing safety concepts and creating safety architecture
• Experience with FTA and FMEDA
• Good communication skills in English,
