One of our clients are looking for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join them on a contract basis.

Inside IR35

SC clearance required

3-6 months initially

Based in Chippenham

Service desk - Receiving escalated tickets from 1st line and progressing to resolve whilst providing input to 1st line to assisting in uplifting their skillsets.

Escalating tickets within appropriate timeframe to 3rd Line and where possible uplifting your own skillset alongside them.

Liaising with management and Service delivery teams to fulfil customer queries and requirements.

This role will require good customer service and communications skills as well as technical and hands on experience as it will include a lot of typically 2nd line support duties as well as 1st.

Required Experience

*At least two years' experience in a 1st/2nd line helpdesk and above or a similar role.

*Experience supporting Windows Server 2012 R2 and up

*Experience supporting virtualization software such as VMware

*Experience dealing with networking devices such as firewalls (Sonicwall, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX) and switches (Cisco, Dell)

*Experience in Backup solutions, such as Veeam

*Experience of working within an ITIL framework, ideally with an ITIL Foundation certificate.

*Full driving license and the ability to be able to work on customer sites as appropriate with minimal supervision.
