We are searching for a Data Engineer to join the team in Oslo!You will be based in a competent and innovative in-house tech environment with 50+ developers, engineers, and data professionalsThere are plenty of challenging and exciting projects to be part of, with great investment in Cloud and data-driven servicesAs part of a smaller specialised team, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skillset and gain experience in areas that may interest you, such as datawarehouse design, data visualisation, project leadership, working closely with stakeholders to understand & translate technical requirements, and BI deployment & maintenance in an agile environment Your role will involve:Building and scaling existing data processing pipelinesDesigning and implementing new data pipelinesAnalysing and organising raw data from multiple sourcesWorking cross-functionally with colleagues in data science and analyticsInvestigate and evaluate methods to improve data quality and reliability We are looking for you to have some of the following skills and experiences, though junior profiles who show a keen interest in data engineering and have a strong academic background are also encouraged to apply and will be considered Higher education in and Engineering/IT related subject, or relevant years of experienceGood knowledge of Python and SQLExperience with BI toolsExperience with database design Experience with Cloud platforms is beneficialAlong with excellent opportunities for technical development, there are opportunities to progress your career as an early member of the analytics environment in the company, helping to shape the working methods and being a key part of the decision-making processYou will also receive a fair & competitive salary, along with an enhanced pension and insurance packageThere is funding for professional courses, along with internal workshops that you can take part inAll equipment for your role will be provided - both software & hardwareYou can also take advantage of the social benefits on offer to make your time at work, and outside of work, more enjoyable!
