PLANNING CONSULTANT£27,000 - £31,000 + Great Benefits Package

You will also be reviewing and monitoring existing planning policy documents and assisting with the preparation and implementation of transport policies and strategies to create an efficient transport network, possibly including cycle routes, rail and road routes and or runways.The idealcandidate will be a Planner with 3-5 years expereince as a planner with significant experience within the industry, looking for a role with autonomy and development opportunities.This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career working for a company offering you growth and development, great earning potential and the chance to become a leader in your field. The Role:* Conducting appropriate research to inform planning applications* Helping to draft and review planning applications* Assisting with consultations and negotiations with consultants and developers* Enforcing planning controls for developments* Preparing policy or guidance documents on how to manage historic environments, or refurbish or re-use listed buildings* Running public Consultations The Person:* Planner / Planning Consultant* A degree in town planning, or a related subject* Be MRTPI, or working towards accreditation.
