Senior Platform Engineer

£60,000 - £75,000 + Training + Progression + Remote working + Pension + Benefits

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Platform Engineer looking to make key technical decisions and join high-growth Start-Up offering excellent training and mentoring.

This company have been in business for about 10 years, having spotted a gap in the market for real-time SEO Marketing for E-Commerce businesses. They have over 200 clients and counting, they are expanding and are about to open their first ever US office.

In this role you will work as part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary technical team to scale the platform, and monitor, test and maintain the system so that it runs effectively and smoothly. You will build & maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS Services.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial experience with AWS in a Platform Engineering role and have a deep understanding of AWS Compute, Storage, Container and Networking services. You will have experience with IaC (ideally Terraform) and have an understanding of DevOps tools.

The Role:

*Handling incidents and offering solutions

*Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

*Scaling vertically and horizontally for maximum business value

*Remote Working

The Person:

*Strong understanding of AWS Compute, Storage, Container and Networking services

*Strong experience building & Maintaining CI/CD Pipelines

*Experience in IaC

*Ideally degree in Computer Science or Similar
