This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FPGA Digital Design Engineer to join an exciting start-up working on the development of optical neural networks. They spun out of the world-leading experimental optics research group at the University of Oxford with the vision of developing end-to-end all-optical neural networks where the information flow and calculations are minimally reliant on electronic processing. The Role Based out of their brand-new laboratory in Oxford, the Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for full lifecycle development of optical computing systems. Working with a small team of skilled engineers you’ll be responsible for the design, development and testing of highspeed circuits. What’s Required?
