An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team based in London. This role is responsible for ensuring the manufacturing operation produces quality product, which conforms to their product compliance standards. This involves inspection of parts, conducting root cause analysis and managing any quality issues.

Key Priorities:

- Managing all aspects of customer, supply chain and internal non-conformances from generation to conclusion

- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes and products to ensure quality specifications are met

- Communicating effectively on quality issues to all stakeholders including customers

- Monitoring and analysing quality performance in line with business KPIs. Reporting on the underlying reasons for performance and developing improvement projects

- Completing audits and in process monitoring to ensure processes are capable

- Conducting root cause investigations into quality issues. Developing & implementing corrective and preventative actions

- Leading continuous improvement projects across a board range of production processes, focussing on utilising lean manufacturing tools to deliver positive change

- Reviewing specifications and processes

- Collaborating with Compliance, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to develop and implement controls and improvements

- Support the Compliance Manager and businesses in all areas of Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Design & Manufacturing compliance

- Innovate by bringing new ideas to processes and looking for constant improvement within the manufacturing environment

- Support Contractors for best safe working practice when working on site

Preferred qualifications and requirements:

- Essential (min qualification): Bachelor's degree (BEng) or higher in any engineering discipline

- Experience: 2-3 years 'experience in technical engineering environment

- Essential: An understanding of the role of quality and continuous improvement in a manufacturing/engineering environment

Preferred/desirable skills:

- ISO knowledge

- Formal lean manufacturing qualifications

- Further IT skills
