A great opportunity to further develop your service desk support and troubleshooting skills within a complex Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange / Office 365 & VMware V-Sphere 6.0+ environment. You will be joining the team as we expand our delivery of soft phones, update our contact centre software, and further exploit the benefits of Microsoft Teams, and Intune across our hybrid workforce.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
resolving user requests in a timely and courteous manner
administering, supporting, and troubleshooting all Desktops, Laptops, Networking (Wired and Wireless), Printers, Scanners, Applications, and mobile devices throughout the business.
sharing your knowledge with written documentation and coaching and encouraging team members
supporting remote workers and remote working tools such as VPN and Citrix
assisting with Dynamics (CRM), and SharePoint related issues
ensuring that Windows operating systems are upgraded and updated with recommended service packs in accordance with IT industry standard practices utilising Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
About you
In addition to your service desk experience, you'll be ITIL Foundation certified or have an awareness of ITIL processes in a similar role and will offer:
In-depth experience in technical support encompassing varying hardware and software platforms (Windows, and Mac OSX).
In-depth experience of Microsoft Windows 2012/2016 and 2019 server environments
Experience of Microsoft Windows 10, and accompanying deployment technologies such as WDS (Windows Deployment Services), MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) or Intune
Experience of virtual infrastructure e.g. VMware
Experience with varying storage technologies e.g. Fibre Channel, Storage Area Network (SAN) / Network Attached Storage (NAS) etc.
Active Directory Administration / Microsoft Exchange / Office 365 administration
Windows Group Policy creation, deployment and troubleshooting.
