The Opportunity
You can use your communication skills to defend democracy. Every day, we're making Parliament more connected and accessible - yet this brings cyber threats from all corners of the world. You will help us repel these challenges as you raise the profile of cyber security across Parliament.
Driving the development of a strong cyber security culture across Parliament, you will:
actively promote security-conscious behaviours and practices
design and disseminate persuasive awareness and engagement materials
engage with high-profile stakeholders including MPs and Peers
conduct briefings and workshops
maintain expert knowledge of novel and evolving cyber threats
manage relationships with external partners including agencies, illustrators and designers
What You Need
We will look to you to be a powerful catalyst for change, so you will require:
exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to explain complex issues to diverse audiences
the technical aptitude to develop an in-depth knowledge of Parliament's cyber security challenges
experience of building strong relationships with senior decision-makers
an extremely organised and methodical approach, including proven ability to meet strict and often changing deadlines
the ability to pass security clearance, backed by the right to work in the UK

Parliament faces a unique range of cyber security threats with real potential to disrupt democracy. That's why it's vital we maintain a world-class Cyber Security Team with the cutting-edge expertise to anticipate, counteract and neutralise attacks in a constantly changing landscape. Operating at its heart, you wil raise the profile of the Cyber Security Team whilst engaging with and educating teams across Parliament.
