A Senior Compiler Engineer is sought by this exciting organisation specialising in emerging AI technology for the medical, consumer and industrial markets. The Senior Compiler Engineer will be based at their R+D Centre in Zurich and will be responsible for leading the compiler design, implementation and optimisation. The Senior Compiler Engineer will also be responsible for compiler tool chain development and compilation features roadmap planning. The Senior Compiler Engineer will be working with machine learning and AI Engineers and Scientists as well as Processor Architects and Designers. The successful candidate will have a PhD, Masters or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field. You will have a strong background in algorithm design, performance profiling and software development using C++ and / or Python. You will have in-depth compiler development skills and experience including a good knowledge of LLVM, TVM MLIR etc. Any exposure to machine learning, AI, deeply neural networks or large-scale multi-component software systems would be beneficial. Alternatively, if you have a real interest in these emerging technologies and a wish to learn more then this would also be acceptable.
