Application Solutions Team Leader

A financial organisation is current recruiting an Application Solutions Team Leader who has experience resolving bug fixing, service transition, supporting the team technically, code reviews and mentoring talented resources within finance (ideally payments). The chosen candidate will be paid £45,000 to £55,000 + 15% bonus and be required to be in the office 3 days per week located in either Chatham or Wolverhampton.

The Application Solutions Team Leader will lead a team of support staff responsible for the day to day management, triage & resolution of live system issues for all critical systems including Banking, Payments, Integration, Websites and others custom developed systems

Core Responsibilities
Maintain Application support activities and team management
Hands on Incident Management, Problem management, Change management and Information management
Metrics/KPI - Calls and tickets ensuring we understand our KPI support numbers on monthly basis
Relationship Owner for many services and responsible for Service Reviews and relevant documentation relating to this
Ensure expert procedures are in place for Service level management, OLA and knowledge base
Excellent debugging and analysis skills, identifying fixes for reported issues by business team/users in production

Core Experience:
5+ years of experience in leading a team technically is essential
4 years or more of application support experience is essential.
Basic knowledge of finance, payments, mortgage products is essential
4 years or more demonstrated experience in managing communication "upwards" to senior leadership is essential.
4 Years or more experience in complex system production release management is essential.
Intermediate leadership & management in respect of application support are essential
Intermediate Problem solving skills in respect of application support are essential
Intermediate Incident triage skills in respect of application support are essential
4 Years or more basic experience in Databases (MSSQL) is desirable.
