I am currently helping one of my clients, a Contract Manufacturer of Medical Device who specialise in injection moulded components and devices, to recruit for a Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. They are going through an exciting period of growth, so now is an excellent time to join the team, and develop in your career with them.The RoleThe Quality Engineer in this role will be responsible for monitoring the production and release of finished parts and ensuring quality policies and procedures are adhered to on a daily basis, in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System.Your responsibilities will include...Responsibility for production GMP standardsInvestigation of root cause and following through on effective corrective actions.Initiating and completing CAPA actions.Initiating and completing engineering change request and action as required.Initiating and completing non-conformance reports (NCR's), co-ordinating product/production related NCR's to closure in a timely mannerEstablishing and monitoring inspection standards, plans, frequencies and test methodsEstablishing and maintaining FMEA's.Supporting customer and surveillance accreditation audits.supporting the development and continuous improvement of the quality management system.Support Operations area projects and initiativesEnsuring that all quality records are completed as per company procedure comply with GDP.Supporting the SCAR process when required.Requirements:Level 8 (BSc) or equivalent qualification in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.1+ years in a Quality Engineering capacity in a highly regulated industry, preferably Medical Device.If you are interested in taking the next step in your career, and would like to join an exciting company where you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of Medical Device products and clients, then apply here, or contact Tara Toomey at Real Staffing for more info.
