This would be for a 12+ month contract opportunity with the potential for full time conversion. In addition, this would be on-site with 75% travel; my client is looking for someone local to the Thomasville, GA area.Full-time opening for an IT Business Systems Analyst focused on the delivery of IT solutions and systems to various business units throughout organization. This role will primarily work with the following manufacturing departments (materials & Inventory, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Control). This position will be a trusted advisor to the business and help to drive IT projects by working with the business to develop requirements, processes, procedures, and interface with the IT organization to help automate or improve existing systems and review current system capabilities, workflow, and limitations. This may include execution and project management of necessary system enhancements and/or new systems.Essential Duties:Deliver IT Application projectsRepresent and relay IT standards on projectsIFS Applications ERP experience preferred but comparable ERP knowledge is acceptableLead, perform and document process analysis activities including as-is process identification, to-be process design and gap analysis/resolutionFacilitate manufacturing enhancements and process improvements to support business sponsors operations for on-time delivery and quality goalsProvide the business owners the information required for them to make educated decisions regarding system changes. This includes defining overall scope, IT work effort.Work with business partners and IT to solve problems reject requirements that do not advance business objective through analysis, testing, demonstrating and inspectionPerform data mapping for multiple systems supporting various team workflowsProperly gather user requirements while implementing change management to serve those requirements.Obtain and analyze information from multiple business users to help distinguish request from needsCoordinate and facilitate engagements between multiple departments, vendors, and IT to promote and maintain alignment across multiple projects/workstreamsResponsible for the development of the functional training and the on-going functional support, including, but not limited to troubleshooting and the development of "super users" on the business sideProvide training to end users for systems modifications or new systemsTest, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systemsDevelop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standardsDepending on needs may be asked to assist with project management duties as assigned:Project requestsWork with project subject matter experts to maintain tasks and statusProject tracking, reporting, and metricsIssues/Risk logs (if necessary for each project)Track project financials as necessaryObtain the necessary project approvals throughout the SDLCProject management (as necessary)Special Notes:Manufacturing focus BSA - Big Six project (six sigma)Needs to have ERP experience (IFS is a plus)Need someone that understands supply chainIf at all interested please email me at [email protected]
