IT Support Engineer

We're now looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team in Capenhurst and provide IT support services to our customers. The Role As an IT Support Engineer, you will oversee our helpdesk services, providing 1st and 2nd line support and services to our growing user base. Triaging support requests as they come into the helpdesk, you will log and respond to issues, working alongside technicians and 3rd party vendors to provide a resolution. For any requests that can't be dealt with, you will escalate the issue to the relevant point for hardware or software support. You will manage an issue throughout its lifecycle, providing a high level of customer service throughout the journey. Additionally, you will support ICT Admins with a range of project work and server support activities. About You To be considered as an IT Support Engineer, you will need solid knowledge of building and maintaining IT services and infrastructure, based on Windows and Linux. You will also need aptitude or skills with the following: - Windows 10/11 Pro
- Windows Server 2016 -2019
- Virtual machines and infrastructure (predominately internal and Azure) Ubuntu Server and Desktop
- Office / O365 Skills
- Network administration
