C# Low latency Developer - FX etrading - Investment Bank 

ESSENTIAL 

Strong server side C# development skills

Experience with low-latency, high-availability asynchronous systems

Flexible approach to dealing with challenges

Motivated to work directly with traders and research

Strong communication and design skills

Proven ability to deliver front office systems

 The following would be helpful:

Experience in C++, Java and Python

Experience of the FX business and interest rate products.

Experience of messaging-based data distribution, particularly TIBCO Rendezvous

 

Based in London and part of an  FX  eTrading development team, this role involves working closely with the research (quant) team, trader tools (GUI) team and front office as part of an expanding team to:

Maintain and enhance the server side of the platform

Be part of the whole development lifecycle including analysis, architecture/design, development, testing and 2nd level support

The platform  is an interest-rate market builder and cross-business-line pricer and quoter. It is the strategic pricing platform for forward interest rate product pricing, replacing the spreadsheets traditionally used by traders to build the interest rate markets used for pricing forward FX and interest-rate products. It allows traders to view and control the market-building process and the associated calculations and data they need to do this. It builds an interest-rate market which used for forward FX and other interest-rate products for internal and external use, while providing analytics and contributions to other systems within the bank.
