We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join Airbus Defence & Space on our Cyber Projects team.

You will be managing the procurement for the manufacturing of cyber products. This role offers the opportunity to interface and engage with internal customers and suppliers alike to source the building materials to our unique cyber projects' specifications.

You will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Tasks & Accountabilities:

- Define Procurement Programme vision, policy through the 5 main pillars (Innovation, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery and Competitiveness) & manages deviation/ mitigates risks

- Ensure procured items development & industrialization and in service are managed

- Ensure procured items operational issues are managed

- Set-up/keep updated a procurement performance dashboard for the Programme

- Follow-up NRC & RC vs. budgets (OP)

- Ensure supply chain competitiveness to support both sales campaigns and existing programmes/projects

- Follow-up procurement risks & opportunities for the Programme.

Skills & Experience:

- Manufacturing Procurement experience (preferably within the technology or defence industries)    

- Procurement knowledge

- Business Degree preferable

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
