Project Manager (Industrial Automation)

£40,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance + Generous Pension + Plenty of overtime

Do you want a role where you will be responsible for the overseeing a major infrastructure upgrade project for a company who will reward you with a fantastic package?

This global company specialise in the Automation sector covering a wide range of industries. As part of a global group they operate worldwide for a range of industry leading customers. Having just won a major national contract they now require a Project Manager to oversee the complex upgrade projects.

In this role you will be based at the office in Runcorn and will undertake intensive training to get you up to speed on the company specifics as well as ongoing training to support your professional development. Your role will be split between the office and the field, spending a lot of your time traveling to project and client sites. You will be required to work throughout the UK and will need to stay away sometimes. You will be involved in overseeing all aspects of this large upgrade project with multiple sites running concurrently. Your standard working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30-5 but there will be a requirement for flexibility to suit the projects.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Industrial Automation and be PMP or PMI qualified although training can be provided to get these qualifications if required.

The Person:

*Knowledge of industrial automation is essential

*Project Management experience - PMP or PMI qualification would be beneficial

*Happy and able to travel and stay away as required
