EMC Testing Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a test engineers to join a key client of ours on an initial 3 month assignment, which has the potential to extend.

The role is for someone to work with the test team and be heavily involved in both working with the team for EMC testing of the product, as well as going to test houses in Malvern and Wimborne to oversea the the test work there.

The company are based in Melksham but there is the opportunity to work remotely when not hands on testing. All travel and hotel costs for when you have to go to test houses will be covered by the client.

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 3 months (initial)

Location: Swindon/Remote (with travel to test houses)

Rate: £35-£40 p/h

IR35: Inside IR35

Skills needed:

* Experience with product testing for electronic/electromechanical products

* Understanding of PCBs & schematics

* Experience with working with test houses on product approvals

* Ideally EMC knowledge/testing experience - this is desirable though

* Understanding of pneamatics/hydraulics/mechatronics is highly desirable
