Junior Software Developer

Lichfield - Remote with occasional travel (once a month)

£30,000 - £45,000 DOE + Holiday, Pension, Great Benefits

Excellent opportunity for a talented Junior Software Developer to join a leading UK care provider in a highly technical role offering excellent training and benefits.

The business is a well-known and respected organisation that provides a niche support service to people with learning or physical disabilities. They are currently undergoing a large IT Transformation project and are looking to add to their internal development team.

In this role you will be developing greenfield applications for the business as well as improving features of existing applications. You will liaise with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and build applications, solutions and release to production.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in C#.NET Development and some experience with frontend languages such as JavaScript. You will also have good knowledge of creating and using WebAPI/RESTful APIs, and experience of development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc.). Any knowledge of Source Control Systems (e.g., Git), ORM's (Entity Framework, Dapper) and SQL relational databases is desirable.

The Role:

*Develop greenfield applications for the business as required

*Maintain and improve existing applications

*Liaise with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions

*Remote role with occasional travel to office around once a month

The Person:

*Good knowledge of C#.NET Development

*Experience of creating WebAPI/RESTful APIs

*Any knowledge of Source Control Systems, ORM's and SQL relational databases is desirable

*Must be able to commute to Lichfield on occasion
