Cyber Security Analyst

Location: remote w/ travel into Northern Island occasionally

Contract: full time permanent role

Ability to gain SC clearance

Salary: 25k - 35k

Roles and responsibilities

* Knowledge of up to date security and technology developments

* Research into emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them

* Advising, reporting and managing on customer impacting IT security incidents

* Assistance and on-going support conducting information security audits

* IT security impact assessments of change requests

* Recording and monitoring compliance with operational security standards and procedures

* Security control assessments to be conducted to identify gaps in compliance control, work with process owners to determine corrective plans

* Using defined information risk management methods and frameworks to identify and implement controls

* Risk register to maintain and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security

* Respond and monitor to 'phishing' emails and 'pharming' activity

* Creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training

What we're looking for:

* Excellent IT skills - knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware and security

* Vulnerability assessments and patching tools experience

* Knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware and security

* Info sec threats and risk management up to date knowledge

* Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM and endpoint protection knowledge

* Ability to collaborate with other team members and clients
