Quant Analyst / Developers

Front Office Banking

6 months - 2 years

c £850-1200 p/d (PAYE all-in)

Remote / UK

As an established and trusted approved fintech recruitment partner to this international bank, we have been asked to assist in the filling a few key roles in the Quantitative team within the bank to assist on various projects. Candidates should have robust mathematical or finance investment banking applications experience with good C# skills (C++ is okay as a substitute for a couple of the roles). Some roles require strong Quant analysis skills.

Key skills / project involvement across all roles:

C# (or C++)

FO / Front office banking applications

Risk engines

Pricing theory

FX

Quantitative / Quant analysis and development

Some roles will have involvement and as such need skills in:

P&L attrition

Interest Rate Curves

Interest Rate Yields

FX derivatives / FX options

Interest rate Swaps

Murex

Monte Carlo simulations

Market risk

Middle Office

Candidates are sought either at Quantitative Developer or Analyst level. Candidates should either have recent experience on high profile investment banking applications or have strong academic mathematics experience with theoretical study / training in quantitative methods.

c. £850-1400 p/d inside IR35 (this is the total figure we would pay to your nominated umbrella, and all statutory taxes would be deducted from these figures). There may be some northward flex for strong candidates. Initially six-month assignments, but key stakeholders will openly confirm they would intend to hold onto good individuals for 2-3 years, as there is a learning curve, so letting someone go after an initial six months makes no sense.
