Position Description

* Contractual Base Location: Home full time (preferred but not mandatory: 1-day a fortnight national travel for sprint review)

* Start *Subject to BPSS /End date/ Duration: start 23/05 for 7 months (end 30/12/22)

* SC clearance required + UK National/UK passport holder only

NATIONAL SECURITY CLEARANCE must be active and transferable. Please make sure before submitting your candidate.

Clearance remains valid providing the following criteria are met:

1. Security clearances must not be more than 10 years old or 7 years for DV; and it must have more than a year remaining before expiry - ideally 18 months

2. Candidate has taken up post within 6 months of the clearance being granted.

3. The individual must have worked on a government contract or for a government department/Police Force in a role requiring NSV clearance within the last 12 months;

4. The individual must not have resided overseas for more than 6 months during the break in service between government contracts.

We are seeking an experienced Node.js developer with a minimum of 5 years experience. In collaboration with the Development, QA and DevOps teams, you will be writing long-standing, high quality & efficient code for high performance integrated software to help solve unique client problems. A team player with a proactive mind set, with a passion for working together as a team to achieve goals.

Key duties and responsibilities:

?- To pick up user stories and develop the back end software components to the software development standards set

- To conduct unit testing for software developed ensuring that software is good quality with no bugs

- Submit software to repository to enable it to be tested using the automated test pack

- To work with system tester to understand and resolve any defects identified.
