Systems Engineer / DevOps London / WfH to £85k

Systems Engineer / DevOps (Linux CI/CD Cloud Networking) *Hybrid WfH*. Would you like to join a small collaborative team within a technology driven company in a senior role, where you can get your voice heard and drive best practice whilst working on a modern tech stack?

You could be joining a rapidly expanding and innovative scale-up that have created a highly scalable digital streaming product used by a number of well-known company's including Eurostar to connect passengers with digital entertainment whilst on the move.

As a Systems Engineer / DevOps you will deploy and maintain critical applications within a cloud-native microservices environment, automating wherever possible and using Infrastructure as Code principles. You'll build CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments and identify ways to improve the quality and speed of deployments, influencing technical decisions within a collaborative team environment.

There's a remote interview process, following that you'll join colleagues in the London office 2 days a week with the rest of the week work from home.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar, highly technical position

You have an advanced knowledge of Linux

You have a strong knowledge of Networking fundamentals (e.g. VPC, subnetting, VPNs)

You're comfortable with at least one scripting language e.g. bash, Python, Go

You have a good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g. Jenkins, ArgoCD)

It would be of benefit to have some experience with other technologies in the stack e.g. Kubernetes and automation tooling such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform; experience of managing Cloud infrastructure and services in GCP (or AWS, happy to use GCP going forward)

You're collaborative with great communication skills
