ASIC Design Engineer

This is a unique opportunity for an ASIC Design Engineer to join a company offering digital audio and video processing expertise. The successful ASIC Design engineer will get the opportunity to work with a Senior team who have extensive experience in the Digital Video industry and experience in the design and architecture of high-quality digital video solutions and software.

You will get the opportunity to work on the design of IP blocks, at RTL level, for video compression for my client’s customers and for the R&D development of their IP products.

Key skills:

• A first experience in Front-End design for ASIC (3 years and +) in the field of video processing / coding or signal processing (desired)
• Knowledge of video compression / decoding algorithms
• Essential mastery of VHDL (or Verilog) language, flows and CAD tools specific to ASICs (modelling, design, simulation, synthesis, verification, etc.).
• Knowledge required in C / C ++, scripting languages and optimisation of architectures and micro-architectures at HW / RTL level.
