Core Duties:

Manage, coordinate and facilitate cross team tasks

Manage the relationship of integration partners and their support of our infrastructure

Assist in the development of infrastructure documentation, training and management.

Direct the implementation of new technologies

Create automation to improve efficiency, and scalability while reducing manual intervention

Work with various vendors and service providers to ensure production environment is always operating at peak proficiency

Other Duties:

Coordinate with various departments

Provide escalation assistance to Facilities, Technology, and Community Teams on the implementation, maintenance and design of network infrastructure

Create SOPs around equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades

Work with local ICT Teams on an escalation basis to support building operations and security systems design

Assist in projects that lead to overall network improvements including network equipment code upgrades and hardware upgrades.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Have a least 10 years of experience working in core network engineering or architecture teams

Must have a proven track record developing infrastructure automation in Python, Ansible experience a major plus, Ruby skills nice to have

Demonstrated understanding of version control and change management with Git and Gitlab

Have a solid understanding of datacenter infrastructure information management and global IP/IPv6 address management

Be an innovative and creative networking professional by nature

Have expert level knowledge of data center, WAN, and LAN architectures, including wireless, security engineering principles and system design

Have expert level knowledge of core routing and switching concepts and principles, including IPv6, STP, BGP, OSPF and MPLS as well as IPSEC and 802.3ad.

Have significant experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and Juniper JunOS, as well as Fortinet FortiOS and Palo Alto PanOS and Panorama.

Have expert knowledge of Juniper SRX, as well as Juniper EX and Cisco Catalyst 9000 series switches

Some experience with Brocade/Ruckus switching, Juniper MX and QFX platforms, Palo Alto PA series firewalls, and Fortinet Fortigate firewalls a major plus

Demonstrate a high-level of attention to detail

Be able to multitask across multiple platforms, departments, time zones, and cultures when necessary

Maintain the highest professional standards within the WeWork message and concept

One of the things that I would focus on is making sure that this person is an Ansible STAR. as they will need to be very hands-on with Ansible.
