QA Test Engineer / Web Tester London to £50k

Global provider of data protection solutions is seeking a bright QA Test Engineer / Web Tester to join a new Agile team working on a web-based portal. You will be responsible for providing high quality testing services to the engineering team, using both manual and automation methods. A typical day for you will include, working with developers, other testers, and product experts to write effective and efficient tests, carrying out scripted and exploratory testing, and participating in sprint planning and other project group activities.

You'll be based in London offices but will have flexibility to work remotely 3 days a week.  

Requirements:

You have previous web application testing experience using manual and automation methods

You have had exposure to Linux and are comfortable with Linux command line scripts

You can read code (any language)

You have experience with API testing

You have experience implementing testing strategies and practises

You are a quick learner and can pick up new tools and technologies easily

You ideally have a technical degree

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
