Lead Web Developer London to £110k

Lead Web Developer (React JavaScript Ember Agile TDD). Hugely successful FinTech that is experiencing rapid growth is seeking a Lead Web Developer to join their team. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team within a company that has a fantastic culture, adopts modern tools and technologies and runs regular hackathons where you can present new ways of thinking to the management team.

As a Lead Web Developer you'll be joining a highly Agile team where you'll remain hands-on designing and developing high quality user facing features and working on migration projects moving from Ember to React. The company use contemporary tools (such as AWS, GitHub, Docker and Kubernetes) and have a high standard of engineering practises using Agile and DevOps ways of working.

The office is based in London and you will be expected to work from there 2 days a week. They are moving to a brand new modern office in a nearby London location soon that has breakout areas, social spaces and a large canteen.

Requirements:

An experienced Web Developer with very good knowledge of JavaScript and React

Highly advantageous if you have experience with Ember or must be happy using it going forward

Very good knowledge of Agile and TDD

Some experience mentoring / leading teams previously ideally

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
