1st Line IT Support Technician

£20,000 - £22,000 pro-rata + Holiday, Life Cover, Progression Opportunities

Fantastic opportunity for a motivated 1st Line IT Support Technician to join a growing company on a 6-month fixed term contract with potential to stay on permanently.

This company are specialists in providing Network Infrastructure, AV and Electrical solutions across a number of industries. Some of their well-known clients include KFC, Manchester City FC and Selfridges to name a few.

In this role you will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for all IT questions or issues. You will log and respond to tickets using Zoho Desk, configure laptops and mobiles for new and existing employees, update user accounts using Active Directory, ensure the SharePoint based Employee Directory is kept up to date and maintain the mobile phone management portal.

The ideal candidate will be a recent IT graduate or possess relevant IT qualifications. You will have good knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, Hardware (Mobile Phones/Laptops). Any experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a 1st Line IT Support Technician to secure a 6-month fixed term contract in a role which is highly varied and autonomous.

The Role:

*Act as first point of contact for all IT questions or issues

*Update user accounts via Active Directory, update SharePoint based employee directory

*Based in Stockport office

The Person:

*BSc in IT or relevant IT qualifications

*Knowledge of Active Directory, SharePoint, M365, Hardware (mobile phones, laptops etc.)

*Any experience in a similar role is highly desirable

*Must be commutable to Stockport
