$200+ billion revenue The IT Infrastructure Support Engineer Role: We are looking for a hands-on infrastructure engineer to provide IT support on Infrastructure based technologies. The role also requires a focus and knowledge of IT security, in terms of vulnerability management, patching and securing the infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: + Take ownership of various tasks involved in the implementation, support and security patching of Warehouse and Head Office network infrastructure equipment.
+ Participate in IS projects where applicable ensuring assigned tasks are completed in line with deadlines.
+ As part of the Networking Infrastructure team, handle relevant support escalations from the Helpdesk and ensure a timely resolution.
+ Assist with security audits (SOX, PCI), both ensuring the infrastructure is secure and patched, but also submitting required evidence and documentation.
+ Manage and liaise with 3rd party providers such as hardware / software vendors and network service providers. About You: + Support of Windows technologies and Operating Systems such as Windows 10 / 11, Windows Server 2012 - 2019 and Active Directory
+ Strong hands on technical experience with Server and Network security. Ability to secure the infrastructure and also deal with security incidents.
+ Experience with Cisco systems such as switches, routers, Access Points and VoIP
+ Good understanding of firewalls, VPN, virtualisation (VMWare / ESX preferred), Azure
+ IBM iSeries experience desirable You must be a team player, self-motivated and possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to travel and flexibility to work unsociable hours is a must. An attention to detail with good organisational skills is also required.
