Based in Hertfordshire, our client is looking for a Principal Digital IC Design Engineer to join their expanding team developing cutting-edge WiFi chipsets. This a superb opportunity to join a recently established team based in attractive offices, close to direct transport links to London and Cambridge. The company is an international leader in in wireless technology for the IoT, designing chips from concept to final silicon product for a wide variety of markets. Having opened a new UK design team just last year, they now seek a Principal Digital IC Design Engineer to drive design architecture, IC design, integration and verification, as well as lead, assist and grow the silicon team. Qualifications and skills required:BSc/MSc in Electronics Engineering or similar Extensive experience working in Digital ASIC Design, with strong skills within RTL design, verification, synthesisDirect hands-on experience of design architectureA very good understanding of communication standards (WiFi / Bluetooth / UWB / ZigBee)An understanding of wireless algorithmsAs the successful Principal Digital IC Design Engineer you can expect to receive excellent benefits including flexible working, a competitive salary with short- and long-term incentive plans, medical insurance and a bonus.
