Data Engineer

Data Engineer - Remote - £45k-£55k (DoE)

Are you a talented Data Engineer looking for a new opportunity to join a dynamic organisation which provide analytic solutions to customers. This is an opportunity to join an organisation that is looking to expand and who ensure that its partners use data effectively and turn it into actionable information.

The Role

This role is varied, please find below some of the main responsibilities this role will entail:

• Implement data flows in order to connect the organisations operational systems with their BI systems
• Re-engineer manual data flows
• Support the team with the creation of data streaming systems
• Ensure all ETL processes run correctly, ensuring ETL scripts and code is well written.

Main Skill-Set

We are looking for a good mix of the below skills, (not necessarily all of the below, but a good proportion):

• Commercial experience with the full MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS)
• Azure experience, notably Azure data platform, Azure data factory and Azure synapse.
• Experience with Power BI
• Strong DAX or OLAP skills

Other skills

The organisation are looking for,

• An excellent communicator
• Stakeholder management experience, with a track record of presenting information back to various stakeholders
• Problem solving and analysis skills
• A self-starter with excellent organisation skills
