Cloud Engineer opportunity to join a rapidly expanding global software vendor. We are looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to work with a range of cutting edge technologies in a forward thinking and dynamic organisation.The Cloud Engineer must have a strong background in complex troubleshooting across a range of technologies, primarily focussing on MS Azure Cloud. You will be involved in decoding technical software output and installation logs, SQL database investigation, troubleshooting, bug reporting, customising software tools and getting involved in testing and deploying newly developed software in to the Cloud.Technical Skills:The successful candidates will ideally have a sound understanding of general infrastructure and virtualisation (Windows and/or Mac OS, Windows Servers, VMware/Citrix), networking principles, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and general application support experience. It would be desirable to have experience of SQL server including troubleshooting / SSRS / T-SQL. Programming / scripting experience with Powershell, VBScript or any similar language and software deployment experience with technologies such as SCCM would also be benedficial, although knowledge of these technologies is not essential. Any interest or experience in Data Analytics / Big Data would be beneficial.Above all, the cloud engineer will be a keen technologist with a hunger to learn new skills and develop their career.
