As an Audit Analyst within the Telecom Expense Management (TEM) division of this company, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the analysis of global customers' mobile telecoms invoices across the EMEA region.

Audit Analysts act as their customers' advocate, utilising market knowledge and processes to detect and resolve billing anomalies and detect opportunities to help customers reduce cost and avoid unnecessary expenses.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who prides themselves on their forensic and analytical skills, and will enjoy working in an international environment. The role is based in their Basingstoke, U.K. office, but can be partly or mainly work-from-home.

What you will be doing:

- Analysing mobile bills from carriers across Europe, identifying and developing recommendations for cost-saving, refunds and optimisation

- Discussing the results of the analysis with the customer

- Reviewing carrier contracts and tariffs to ensure compliance with pricing

- Interfacing directly with carriers to understand contracts, tariff options, bolt-ons.

What do you need:

- High level of numeracy and analytical skills

- A flair for analysing data to identify overcharges and savings opportunities

- Ideally, a working knowledge of mobile telecom carrier billing and tariff structures

- Attention to detail required. Must be able to organise and manage several tasks simultaneously

- A high proficiency in Excel with a love of spreadsheets!

Minimum Level of Skills and Training Normally Required:

- A bachelor's degree in maths, accounting, economics or other numerical subject preferred

- Minimum 2-3 years of billing or pricing analysis experience, either in a telecom expense management role or within the billing or pricing team of a telecom carrier

- Exposure to an international environment preferred
