Network Analyst (VoIP)

£40,000 + 15% Bonus + Hybrid Working + Excellent Bonus + Career Development

Opportunity:
A leading financial services corporation undergoing revolutionary IT transformation is looking to add to its ever-growing VoIP Networking team. The ideal applicant must have at least one year's experience utilising VoIP and network switch configuration within a large enterprise corporation. This is an exciting time to join our client. You will gain exposure to critical business platforms, ensuring performance and connectivity are met to the highest standards within on premise and cloud-based voice communication platforms. The VoIP Engineer can be based in either Chatham or Wolverhampton.

You will act as an escalation point for voice-related service escalations. You will be responsible for working within a team of Network / Voice Analysts tasked with maintaining service, developing call flow solutions, and administering a mixture of on premise and cloud-based Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) solutions. The essential purpose of this role is to support BAU activity by ensuring the business has stable, performant and secure voice platforms from day to day operational perspective.

Core responsibilities:
           Incident Management: All support requests raised to the support team will be managed with an agreed service level agreement with the business.
           All Change Requests (CRs) and Project deliverables are expected to be delivered on agreed timelines and follow the Change Control process, and managed effectively to ensure the professional and safe delivery into production environments, with the proper planning and due diligence to ensure production stability.
           Problem Management: Ensuring recurring issues are addressed by the right process and recurring issues escalated to voice communications.
           Support the business in implementing, configuring supporting suitable voice solutions for clients
           Support third-party service providers to maintain and implement existing and new solutions
           Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves/escalates technical problems related to voice comms failure/integrity and usage of VoIP hardware and software.

Technical experience requirements:
           2 years of previous experience in a Network Infrastructure role is essential
           1 years' experience with VOIP and related network switch configurations is essential
           Intermediate skills in respect of routing and switching are essential.
           1 year's previous experience supporting other critical technologies is desirable: Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, WebEx or CCaaS
           Intermediates knowledge of Windows operating systems, thin clients and voice applications is essential.
           Any exposure to VMware, Windows Server, Etc. would be great!
