A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for Business Analyst with experience working in a Clearing House or Exchange on a 6 month rolling contract basis.

It will be £770 Umbrella per day and working in a hybrid capacity (two days onsite) out of their city of London offices.

Responsibilities for the role are;Involved from project initiation through to go live and beyond, offering on-going support to the business teams. Projects are of various types and sizes.Close working with business stakeholder teams to understand, analyse and document detailed business requirements.Analysis of regulatory requirements impacting the business and its systems.Working with pre and post trade business and IT stakeholders to understand, analyse, and document the impact of wider business requirements on IT systemsCapturing external client requirements with the Relationship Management team, investigating and documenting impacts on Post Trade and Clearing systemsHolding walkthroughs of BRDs to ensure that requirements are reviewed by all stakeholders, and signed off within the timelines agreed in the project plan.Acting as the interface between the business teams and IT teams / third party software providers.Working closely with third party software providers / Systems Analysts, Developers and Testers to ensure that business requirements are understoodDefining functional and non-functional requirements for internally developed systems and/or reviewing requirements from third party suppliers.Responsible for validating that system design meets the business requirements, and if applicable proposing alternative solutions. Understanding the operational impact of proposed design solutions.Supporting the team to ensure that test cases are comprehensive and appropriate for a project. To assist with defect investigation.Producing externally facing documentation relevant to a projectTo collaborate with others in the BA team, performing peer review of deliverables and to contribute to the ongoing development of the teamBAs can be assigned to several projects / system enhancements at a time, covering a range of functional areas and systems within the clearing domain.
