In this role, you will work closely with business partners, and other developers on the team. This position is responsible for architecting and designing solutions to our customer's needs that exceed their expectations, setting the technical direction for the team and leading each team member in the resolution of technical issues experienced during the daily execution of their work assignments. Candidates for this position must possess the ability to think conceptually, identify and assist teams in the breakdown of work assignments into manageable tasks, coach and mentor team members in all technical aspects of their work, have excellent development, technical and communication skills, be very knowledgeable of Object Oriented (OO) design concepts and patterns, have an extensive familiarity with web technologies and extensive experience building solutions that effectively integrate multiple domains.

Architecting system designs and working with team members to build those designs will be the primary daily responsibility for the individual filling this position. In addition, eliciting and analysis of business requirements, effectively communicating desired design within the team, mentoring all team members, and keeping all levels of management up to date on the status of work activities, will be necessary.

Position Responsibilities:

* Confer with IT Marketing Solutions team members and business partners to understand detailed business requirements, program functions, and steps required to model and develop solutions.

* Design, code, test, debug, and document sites and applications based on defined requirements.

* Develop, configure, and deploy content managed websites.

* Participate in the preparation of technical reports and instruction manuals.

* Prepare documentation as required by turnover control to implement new or enhanced systems into a production environment.

* Solve routine logic or development problems and determine appropriate solutions.

* Spend at least 80% of time performing support activities with 5%-10% development

* Maintain a good working knowledge of current web technologies and programming practices through continual self-guided training and research.

Position Requirements:

* 6+ years hands-on experience developing full-stack OO web solutions with C#, utilizing SOAP / REST service integrations and SQL database backends

* 4 years hands-on experience with writing solutions with React, Vue.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

* 2+ years' experience architecting systems solutions spanning multiple domains

* Passion for developing solutions that exceed customer expectations

* Understanding of and experience with architecting and building solutions based on industry-standard design patterns

* Deep knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing and debugging problems as required by domain

* Experience architecting and building services architectures

* Understanding of networking principles, load balancing, caching and distributed systems

* Extensive experience with complex system requirements analysis

* Excellent communication skills: written, oral and presentation - including, but not limited to, communication with technical peers, managers, and writing / presenting innovative ideas

* Experience performing Project Manager responsibilities on large team projects (> 6-month work effort)

* Knowledgeable of secure development practices
