Contract DevOps Engineer - up to £500 per day (12+ months contract)

Are you a DevOps Engineer, who wants to work for one of the world's top 10 software companies?

This world class and trusted technology partner, who has developed technology in partnership with the travel industry for over 30 years, is looking for a DevOps Engineers to join their team. Joining an established team of Engineers, you will be accountable for the technical design, development and delivery of the product functionalities based on the solutions agreed with stakeholders, with an emphasis on the deliveries related to the Microsoft Azure data platform.

Skills / Environment (not all essential)

* Experienced in Python, Scala, IaC and Cloud computing

* Streaming data platform paradigms and technologies knowledge

* Knowledge of Azure services and Azure Synapse is a plus

* Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus

* Airport IT industry experience is a plus

The successful DevOps Engineer, will be involved in the new platform which leverages the latest cloud and big/fast data technologies to collect, centralise, correlate and generate comprehensive, near real time and dynamic reports to make the most out of these data. They leverage Azure managed services to provide a cloud native streaming data platform which interfaces with Microsoft Power BI to offer actionable insights after transforming the data coming from across the airports ecosystems.

Contract rate: up to £500 per day (inside IR35)

Duration: 12+ months
