The Role:

My client is a cloud-led managed service provider, who deliver specialist services to link people, places and clouds in both public and private sectors. They are seeking to hire a highly motivated self-starting Automation Engineer, who will join their welcoming Product and Engineering team. You will be involved in internal automation projects throughout the full project life-cycle, from scope, to design, to delivery, and working primarily with Microsoft Cloud technologies and top tier vendors. Responsibilities:Assist in the scoping and definition of projectsAutomate multiple projects and solutions by incorporating Cloud, Security, Voice and Connectivity solutionsPlanning and implementing processes for automatically updating contentIntegrate software components and third party programmes We are looking for some of the below experience:Proven record of automation, using a variety of tools and functions (Azure DevOps is essential)Microsoft Azure Iaas, Paas and Security (e.g., Sentinel or Microsoft Defender)Exposure to infrastructure systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux and networking solutionsTask and workflow development (CMP using JSON)Code Control (Git)Scripting, queries and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash or Terraform) Benefits:Salary up to £60,000Flexible working opportunitiesHighly supportive and collaborative working cultureAnd more!
