As a Barclays Product Architect you will be responsible for the roadmap for the technology products you own. You will bring together technical and architectural skills to determine the features and components that Barclays should develop and then translate this into a deployable components by building and validating the architectural patterns and designs that enable successful delivery.Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, with 329 years of success, quality and innovation behind us. What will you be doing?
Building & managing multiyear product roadmaps aligning them to overall strategy for Collaboration Services
Enable successful transition to the target state by structuring the product backlog into features and releases and managing inter and intra product dependencies
Ensuring the end-to-end technical integrity and quality of solutions and product releases
Working within programs to successfully deliver product change and program goals and create technical solutions at all levels of detail
Working with Domain Architects and the broader CTO community to develop the future technical and architectural state
Resolving challenges in product development in conjunction with vendors, engineering and defect managers
Providing quality assurance of technical documentation and ensuring alignment to governance and standards
Leading on Engineering deliverables and be hands-on with the technology components within their subject matter area
What we're looking for:
Extensive knowledge in one or more of these technologies: Mobile network & devices and unified Endpoint Management (including MDM & MAM) & associated Productivity tools
Ability to understand technical challenges and define resolutions working in collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues and designing solutions at enterprise scale
Broad technical experience across multiple areas such as infrastructure, applications, networks, development
Experience of Cloud based virtualisation with Microsoft AVD, AWS Workspaces and associated technologies and such as AppSense/ Ivanti Software/ MSI/ APPV/ MSI
Skills that will help you in the role:
Knowledge of one or more of: Active Directory, Authentication type technologies, Enterprise Network technologies, Security principles and Mobile network & devices
Web-based collaboration & document management (cloud hosted & on premise)
Ability to rapidly understand new technology and determine how to fit it into an existing environment to maximise value & previous experience of working in Product-focused role
Understanding of End User Computing technologies (Email, Office 365) and familiarity with working in an Agile environment and ability to deal with ambiguity and change
Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
