The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Delivery Manager for a 12 Month contract based in Swindon.Purpose of the Role:Technical Project manager to work as part of delivery team to deliver technical outcomes across various platforms, As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating project plans, defining clear deliverable, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.As a Delivery Manager you will be responsible for:This role will use appropriate frameworks, tools and techniques to plan and deliver change initiatives, adapting approach to manage complexity and drive out safe delivery at pace, while delivering towards the overall change team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and managing the expectations of stakeholders. The role will lead the way as a facilitator who helps and supports the change team to perform at their best, follow the scrum process and agile values and practices typically for medium to large sized change initiatives/projects or programmes. Leads and manages all aspects of project management for small to large size/complexity projects (incl. risk, change management, planning, tracking etc)Defines project requirements and scope with stakeholders, suggesting suitable requirement definitions and acceptance measures to remove ambiguity; Negotiates to maximize commercial position while delivering client valueEffectively manages and exceeds customer expectationsIdentifies/addresses potential threats to delivery; engages with people from other parts of to improve integrated service offerings and/or deliveryWhat we require from the candidate:Excellent organisation and planning skills and ability to prioritise.Good stakeholder management, negotiating, influencing, motivational and leadership skills.Strong communication skills.Experience of working within a complex change management environment.Strong technical experience with a proven track record of delivery.Experience of supplier management / engagements and working alongside partner resources.Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods - Agile, Scrum, Kanban & SAFeThis client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
