Digital Project Manager (SFCC/React) - Contract

Type: Initial 6 Month Contract (Outside IR35)

Day Rate: £500-£550 per day

Location: Remote

Start Date: Immediate (February 2022)Computer Futures are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to work with a rapidly growing UK based consultancy working in tandem with a major global retailer.Day to Day Duties:Own the success of managing React, Cloud & Salesforce based engineering projects; driving the planning and execution of releases from concept to releaseLead a small delivery team of PMs and Engineers to deliver throughout all the release phasesBe the process-owner of anything that touches engineering and the clientEnsure PM/Eng interactions happen on backlog grooming, release planning, and communication of statusWork with the engineering team to identify and remove roadblocks early in the planning phase.Surface any issues that block or hinder progressEnsure release tasks beyond engineering, are on trackOversee documentation, localization, etc. as warranted by the clientManage extensive release runbook, service rollout/upgrades, and all deliverables Align engineering and client teams to ensure that dependencies on other stakeholders and teams are tracked and are on trackYou have:5-10 years of experience running software engineering and project/programme development management. Practical experience running React, AWS & Salesforce projects.Salesforce Commerce Cloud Exposure - (SFCC Backend, React FE, Sanity CMS)Experience in software development and project/program management fundamentals (software development life cycle and quality processes, such as scoping, costs, schedules, deliverables, change and risk management, and mitigationRetail/ eCommerce project delivery Industry experience across a global organisation Salesforce Commerce Cloud ExposureGlobal website projects Extensive stakeholder management experienceWorking with senior stakeholders to communicate and manage dependencies Hosting Stand-ups, retros, planning, backlog groomingAgile/ Scrum team managementPM/Agile certified Jira and confluence Project reporting and risk management
