Data Privacy Lawyer (NQ-1PQE)London
£80,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity for a Junior Data Privacy Lawyer, newly qualified to 1 year qualified to join a large international law firm in London. You will need to have a minimum of 6 months experience in Data Privacy matters whether that be from a Training Contract or recent post qualification experience. A keen interest in this area along with cutting edge Cyber Security laws is essential.
The firm operated a hybrid working style including remote & office working.
You will work on a broad range of Data Protection & Cyber Security arrangements including
- Advising clients on a variety of Privacy and Data Protection matters including a advising on all aspects of GDPR, including drafting and reviewing data protection contracts, Data Protection policies and notices;
- Assisting & managing privacy compliance framework projects and advising on Schrems II;
- Responding to data subject access requests and data breaches& incidents;
- Giving Freedom of Information advice, advising on international data transfers matters;
- Coordinating projects with local lawyers on international data transfers.
You will be
- Qualified Lawyer in England & Wales, NQ to 2 years PQE (Febuary & March qualifyers welcomed)
- Have at least 6 months experience in Data Privacy/Cyber Security
- A demonstrable desire & enthusiasm for this growing area of Law within practice area
