Excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an ambitious family-run construction and civil engineering company in a varied role offering training and progression alongside a great salary and negotiable package.

Are you a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with postgraduate experience within the construction industry? Are you looking to work a varied role within Telecommunications? Do you want to make a real impact on and progress within a home-grown Scottish business?

In this role, you will be split between site-based and office-based working within Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving licence, experience working within the construction industry, and an enthusiasm for working within a team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a great understanding of the construction industry to join a close-knit business delivering critical network infrastructure, offering training and development for the right candidate, and a real chance to influence the company's growth and success.

The Role

*Prepare tender/contract documents with architects and clients.

*Select subcontractors and allocate work. Arrange subcontractor payments.

*Monitor costs of project and monitor risks which could impact project costs.

*Write detailed progress and summary reports.

The Person

*Experience within the Construction industry.

*Surveying experience.

*Full clean driving licence.
